Marinas in Darwin |
Marinas in Darwin DO NOT take bookings for marina berths for the months of June and July as the demand for berths is very high and the schedule of yachts arriving and leaving is very unpredictable, the only option is to contact them when you arrive in Darwin. |
As you are going to Darwin please read the Darwin Port Notices and to prevent the introduction of unwanted marine pests into Darwin's marinas there are Northern Territory Government regulations controlling the entry of yachts into those marinas. In some cases your yacht will need to be inspected by divers, or hauled out and treated to kill any such marine pests.
The inspection service is free and the marina managers will be able to assist you with having these checks done, any haul out and cleaning costs are at the owner's expense.
Click on the Northern Territory Govermment Fisheries Web Site to see these regulations.

You can take on duty free fuel at the Cullen Bay Jetty after you arrive in Darwin and before you go into a marina, yachts cannot be refuelled inside a marina and this will save the extra time and effort involved in coming out of a marina to take on fuel.
